Bouldering at the Sardinian port of Port Corallo is easy and especially right on the beach. Boulders are ubiquitous here, but their quality varies greatly. You can find small climbable stones up to three-meter blocks that are slightly under water at high tide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Boudlers are located 400m south of Porto Corallo. After crossing the bridge over the stream leading from Lake Stagno Sa Praia, go to the beach and continue along the rocky coast. At first you will encounter a relatively low (1.5 m) boulder III. with the Cleo route. Boulder II is located approximately 100 m further, climbing can be found immediately to the left of the distinctive cave in the rocky coast. Boulder I, with the most beautiful route in the area, you will see on the very tip of this beach. However, watch out for the tide, the landing site is flooded during high water. Climbing here is only possible in 8-hour intervals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arriving by Linea 105 bus, you will arrive at the local camp Bellavista Camper Service<\/a>. In this case, you need to go southeast along the gravel road directly to the rocky outcrop, from where Boulder I will be beautifully visible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boulder I<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

              A dominant boulder standing on the very edge of the sea. The boulder juts out from the surrounding flat stone land and presents a beautiful bouldering view overlooking the surrounding beach and ever-present rocky coastline. Climbing is possible only at low tide, when the bottom of the boulder is without a large amount of water. Even during periods when the sea level is low, remnants of salt water remain in the surrounding depressions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              The stone is slightly brittle, but most of the holds are cleaned of debris and larger pieces by strong sea storms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only one line has been climbed on the boulder for now, the left side of the boulder still presents the possibility of a first ascent. This side seems less compact and somewhat crumbly, but the slight overhang and large pockets seem to be an ideal opponent for climbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uncle UGO starts almost in the middle of the boulder in a two finger pocket. The route continues through a crimp and another pocket to the right edge, where it turns back more towards the center.\n
