By Brooke Rabout is one of two amazing climbing siblings from the USA. Daughter of two world champions - Didier Raboutou and Robin Ebersfield-Raboutou - and daughter of excellent boulderer and founder of Mellow, Shawn Raboutou. Brooke is an Olympian and two-time world bronze medalist from 2022 and 2023. Brooke is one of the favorites for the stage in Paris and one of the main competitors Janji.

Career

In her career, Brooke followed her parents, both world-class professional climbers. She shone at the Junior World Championships, where she traditionally placed on the podium. Among adults, it is traditionally placed in the finals and on the box. Unfortunately, like the other girls, she has Janja against her, taking gold wherever she can! That's why second and third place at the World Cup is really hard fought! Brooke was bronze medalist twice in a row at the World Championships in bouldering. Her main golden achievement is yet gold from the 2018 World Junior Championships.

Rock climbing

Brooke, like her brother Shawn, is definitely not afraid of rock climbing. Unlike many other representatives such as Nonaka or Garbret, spends a lot of time outside. Her crowning achievement is also the FA, which she holds with her brother. This is Box Therapy 8C (V15). Her dominant feature is bouldering. On the rope, he can climb up to 8c (at the age of 11!), but he dominates on the mattresses. Outside of his heavy FA, for example, he has the iconic route Traphouse 8B or Evil Backwards, both 8B (V13).

Outside of climbing

Brooke Raboutou doesn't just live by climbing. When he's not on the rocks or racing, he's studying at the University of San Diego. Here he studies psychology and marketing (double-major) and trains after school. She thus holds the line with her co-representative and qualified Olympian Natalia Grossman, a team member By Jesse Grupper or Ondra, who graduated from college for their careers.

Finally

Brooke Raboutou is one of the main climbing icons of the new generation. She is one of a handful of female climbers capable of contouring the legendary Garnbret and one of the main contenders for an Olympic medal. Apart from that, she is also worth watching on the rocks, where she performs incredible performances (often under the title Mellow).
