New season in Šárka

Hello everyone and welcome to the new season of the Divoká Šárka area!
With the first really nice weather, we went bouldering Wild Sárky. Not just to continue creating TOP with vision guide, but primarily to just crawl in and enjoy the weather. We met a few of you and had a nice chat and hang out. What pleased us a lot was the increase in responsible climbers in the valley, and that's exactly what we want to have a little fun with here.

Cleaning and cleanliness

As you must have noticed, Šárka is a protected area on which Prague, Czech Republic even conservationists cling a lot. So it is necessary that we treat her as best as possible. We would like to thank everyone who really behaves like this and treats Divoká Šárka with respect and climbing respect.

At the same time, we would like to ask you to remain precise and respectful in your behavior in the valley. They cleaned the rock after themselves, tried not to damage the surroundings and generally did not draw much negative attention to us as a community of climbers. From this year, thanks to the new extended permit, we have a great opportunity to register as climbers, very positively in the perception of the city. It would be a shame not to use it!

New lines

The more of us there are in the valley, the more logically the number of climbers who want to introduce new lines and sectors inside the valley grows. Yes, there is a lot of space and there is definitely more to climb, design and implement. For example Highball has a notoriously difficult project waiting to be climbed. However, we would like to ask you something. When you introduce a new route, please put it on the climber or send it to us, via "+ path" circle in the upper right corner of the page. It will make work and orientation much easier for us and other climbers who go to Šárka.

Why do we want lines to be reported? A few days ago we found a new line on a lonely rock. It was named and graded magnesium, with marked holds and possibly prohibitions. It was a very nice problem, but we're not sure if we climbed it correctly or who to credit. We would like to avoid losing new routes, so please write! Feel free to email us directly, Instagram or Facebook. We'd love for you to connect with us!

with Patrick we hope you're enjoying your climbing this year and looking forward to the new season of outdoor frolics as much as we are!

Good luck climbing!

...kind of traditionally already...
